Knitting for the holidays

Almost a month since I took a little break to go south to pay a brief visit to my parents and to celebrate my father's 60th birthday.

I left the freezing cold of – 30ºC to find the heat of the tropics and its 35ºC. I admit that when I go on vacation, long before I start thinking about my suitcases, I think about my knitting projects, because finding myself without anything to knit would be one of my worst nightmares.

The organization of my knitwear for this trip MADE ME THINK A LOT ABOUT THIS TEXT HERE because I left my winter knitwear for 2 weeks ( THE “STROKKUR” , THE “OUT OF DARKNESS” , and the “RAMONA CARDIGAN ) to advance smaller, more portable projects.

For two weeks I put beaded lace aside for simple projects that require less attention.

In my suitcases, between the gifts and a really unreasonable amount of chocolate was hiding:

1. SOCK YARN TO KNIT LITTLE NORWEGIAN HATS FOR BIRTH GIFTS.
2. MY VERY FIRST PAIR OF SOCKS MADE WITH BLUE MOON'S FAMOUS SOCKS THAT ROCKS.
3. A KNITTED SHAWL IN BEAUTIFUL COLORS BY KATHRYN FROM RIVERSIDE STUDIO.

And you? How do you organize your knitwear for the holidays?

PS: ALWAYS IMPORTANT TO SAY THAT KNITTING NEEDLES ARE ALLOWED ON THE PLANE . There are no detailed specifications for the type of needle, however I have always traveled with bamboo needles with a project already started.
