          Lea Flora

Melissa Gendron, the dyer behind Lea Flora located in Rouyn-Noranda, is passionate about knitwear and fibres. You can visit her on her site web, on Facebook or via Instagram.

I've always knitted, my grandmother showed me when I was about 3-4 years old. (She had to find an activity to keep us calm!). I started dyeing about 2 years ago now. I couldn't find what I was looking for in the local shops.

At first I dyed for about a year, just for myself and a few friends and the pleasure of dyeing was born.

It's not my main job, so I don't dye as much as I would like. The name "Léa Flora" comes from my daughter Léa who loves flowers!”
