Realization

The dress

It is knitted in jersey starting with the bottom frill and is made up of 2 pieces: front and back.

In front:

Cast on 104 stitches.

row 1: Knit a purl row.

row 2: Knit all the stitches 2 by 2 = 52 stitches.

row 3: Knit a purl row.

row 4: Knit all the stitches 2 by 2 = 26 stitches.

row 5, 6 and 7: Continue in stockinette st.

row 9: 1 st, * 2 tog, 1 yarn over * repeat from * to * until the last stitch, 1 st.

row 10: Knit a purl row.

row 11: 1 st, 1 simple overlock, knit to the last 3 stitches, 2 tog, 1 st = 24 stitches.

row 12 to 14: Jersey.

row 15: 1 st, 1 single overlock, knit to the last 3 stitches, 2 tog, 1 st.

Repeat rows 12 to 15 until you have 12 stitches.

For the neckline, knit 3 stitches, cast off the next 6 stitches and finish the row. You will now knit each side separately. Knit 3 rows in stockinette st on these 3 stitches, cut the yarn about ten centimeters and leave them on hold.

Take the 3 stitches on the right. Knit 3 rows in stockinette st on these 3 stitches, cut the yarn about ten centimeters and leave them on hold.

Knit the back of the dress in the same way.

Join the 2 shoulders by making a 3-needle flap. (Place the 3 stitches of the back shoulder on a needle (1), place the 3 stitches of the front shoulder on another needle (2). Cast off with a third needle, coming to knit a stitch from the needle 1 and needle 2 together. Do the same with the next stitches. When you have two stitches on the right needle, bind off normally.)

Sew the sides of the dress, leaving a space of 2 cm before the shoulders for the armholes.

The Shawl

It is knitted in garter stitch (all stitches are knitted).

Cast on 3 stitches.

row 1: Knit 1 stitch, make a yarn over (place the yarn in front of the work) and finish the row in place = 4 stitches.

Repeat row 1, increasing by one stitch at the beginning of each row until you have 26 stitches.

Next row: Knit 1 stitch, 1 yarn over, 2 stitches together, 7 stitches, cast off 6 stitches and knit the remaining 10 stitches.

Knit each side of the shawl separately, leaving the right side aside and finish the left side first as follows:

Row 1: Knit 1, 1 yarn over, 2 stitches together, finish the row.

row 2: knit 1, 2 stitches together, finish the row.

Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you have 2 stitches and finish by knitting 2 stitches together.

Take the 10 stitches on hold on the right side, join the thread and continue as follows:

row 1: knit 1, 2 stitches together, finish the row.

Row 2: Knit 1, 1 yarn over, 2 stitches together, finish the row.

Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you have 2 stitches then knit these 2 stitches together.

Tuck in all the wires. Cross the shawl and sew on a small button to hold the 2 cross sections together.

AND now, who is the most beautiful to go dancing?
