This merino wool comes from sheep raised in Patagonia, where the Cette laine mérinos provient de moutons élevés en Patagonie, where mulesing is not practiced. The wool can be traced directly to the farm it comes from.
Merino wool has numerous wonderful properties; it regulates body temperature. In other words, wool keeps our body warm in cold weather, and releases heat in warmer weather; which allows our skin to stay cool. At the same time, wool, like silk, helps wick moisture away from the skin, and can absorb up to 30% of it's weight without feeling wet.

About Knitting for Olive
At the end of 2015, they started selling knitting patterns for babies and toddlers. They quickly expanded to children’s sizes as well, and in 2018 they designed our first adult-sized patterns.
To be able to give us the best knitting experience, they decided to offer Knitting for Olive yarns. Their vision is to offer high-quality yarns made of pure natural fibres created with respect for both the animals and our environment.
They are a family-run business based in Copenhagen. They are surrounded by lots of kids, who give us countless inspiration and ideas. They always have new patterns in the making.
You can visit them on their website, on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube.
