Semilla is our popular organic wool. Semilla has now come in an updated and Gots-certified version with a chlorine-free softwash treatment that makes it even softer than its predecessor. It also comes in an expanded palette of colors coordinated so that multiple colors from the same color family always fit harmoniously together. Semilla is a versatile yarn that can be used for accessories as well as for sweaters, jackets, children's clothes etc.

The Gots certification means that everything from animal welfare to pollutants is checked. The production of the yarn is environmentally friendly, and everyone involved is ensured proper wages and working conditions. For us, the Gots certification is the strictest environmental certification in the textile industry - much more comprehensive than e.g. Oeko-Tex 100. The raw wool comes from Argentina, and of course no mulesing has been used. The wool is spun and dyed in Italy.
