Cyrano 100% merino by De Rerum Natura

Cyrano is a large, round and soft yarn, made from carded wool from a blend of French white Arles merinos (Provence) and Portuguese black merinos raised with concern for the well-being of the animals and the valorization of their wool.

All stages of manufacturing this yarn are carried out in a short circuit (Belgium and Italy for washing, France for spinning and dyeing) with a constant desire for traceability and reduction of its impact on the environment.

Its five-strand composition gives it a lot of roundness and spectacularly highlights patterns and twists while retaining the bulk and lightness characteristic of carded yarns.

It is available in natural colours from the mixture of brown and white fleeces (“salt”, “white pepper”, “pepper and salt” and “pepper”), and in a palette of subtly mottled dyed colours.

Cyrano owes its name to the poet-inventor-dreamer author of the States and Empires of the Sun and Moon and hero of the eponymous play by Edmond Rostand.
