These are the “Karl Johan sponges” (Boletus Edulis) that announce the change of season. Named after these little heralds of Autumn, the Karl Johan sweater is a classic turtleneck sweater. It will become a staple in your wardrobe as soon as the first frosts arrive.

This sweater is knitted in the round and seamlessly from the neckline down in stocking stitch. The edges and the turtleneck are knitted in 1/1 ribbing. This sweater has an elegant construction with the shoulder line emphasized, a neckline shaped in short rows and slightly balloon sleeves.
