A pair of warm and soft socks to enjoy some time to yourself

This pattern is included in our free tutorials from the podcast "Knitting your Holiday Season 2024" on our Youtube channel: Académie la Maison Tricotée.

The first class takes place on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 10:10 a.m. The tutorials will be available in replay.

Make yourself comfortable, with warm feet, a blanket on your knees and a piece of knitting in your hands. Doudoune socks are an ode to cocooning.

They are very thick and, while not “shoe” socks, will become your favorite for lounging and weekends at the cottage!

These socks are knitted in one long tube which is then separated into 2.

Provisional yarns are placed in order to knit the heels and separate the 2 socks. The toes and heels are added once the tube is finished. The tube is started at the ankle and ends at the ankle of the second sock.

A quick and easy project that's a change from classic socks.
