Mokosh is one of the iconic yarns from the brand Hey Mama Wolf. This 2-ply sport yarn is spun from GOTS certified Arles Merino wool, an exceptional fiber known for its softness, quality, and responsible origin. With a fineness of about 21 microns, it is among the finest wools produced in Europe.

Coming from a rare sheep breed in the south of France, Arles Merino is distinguished by the strong crimp of its fleece. This characteristic allows it to retain fine pockets of air, giving the yarn excellent thermal insulation and natural loft. The result: knits that are warm, lightweight, and breathable, with beautiful elasticity and a particularly soft touch.

Both airy and subtly luminous, Mokosh perfectly reveals the definition of stitches while offering great comfort in wear. Its loft enhances both textures and simpler stitches.
