    Céline Barbeau

      Before opening the cozy shop La Maison Tricotée, Céline Barbeau, originally from Paris, was a storyteller in France.

    Based in Quebec for 18 years, she can boast of having opened Montreal’s first "Knitting Café" in 2013. Céline has been knitting for over twenty years and teaching for 20 years. With the pandemic, her lessons moved online, allowing a large community to benefit from her knowledge through her historical knitting talks, free classes, and more advanced courses. Invited as a knitting teacher at numerous festivals in Quebec and France, enjoy her humor and passion for teaching.

    A fiber artist, she also creates many knitting patterns available on the La Maison Tricotée page.
