Every year, West Yorkshire spinners mill processes thousands of kilos of British wool. During spinning, a natural surplus of fibres is left behind. Instead of treating this as waste, they give it a second life.
These fibres are carefully collected and sent to our local partner, who cards, combs, and converts them back into tops. Back at the mill, they are spun into high-quality yarn, then dyed just a few miles away. Finally, the yarn returns for finishing, balling, and packing with care.
This entire circular process takes place within a 10-mile radius of the mill – minimising the carbon footprint while supporting local craftsmanship.
