A lace/lace thread that takes you to the roof of the world!
Available online and at our GILFORD branch
Bamys is a delicious, luxurious blend of 42% baby alpaca, 13% merino, 10% yak and 35% silk. The Yak gives the yarn its natural coloring, and gives it a rich and warm base!
It is hand-dyed by Annie Leblanc, one of our talented Quebec dyers.
It's a beautiful knitting yarn that is perfect for your precious knitting projects!
Ideal for lace shawls/cowls, and lightweight sweaters, and it works great for adding a warm halo with any other yarn.
Bamys is very pleasant to knit and creates a very soft Yak halo. The fabric obtained is very light and warm.
These wools are dyed by hand. Therefore, you must plan the quantity needed for your projects , because the color may vary from one bath to another. Attention is paid to reproducing the color of the wools as faithfully as possible, however the color of the screens may vary.
So the color of the skeins you receive may vary slightly from the photo shown. For more uniform knitting, I recommend alternating your skeins.
