Sample

22 sts x 30 rows for 10 cm by 10 cm with 3.5 mm needles in circular stockinette stitch. Important: check the sample and adapt the needle number if necessary

Realization

Using 3 mm needles, cast on 112 stitches and join in the round, taking care not to twist the stitches.

Knit in 2/2 rib for 34 rows.

Continue with 3.5 mm needles in stocking stitch until you get 11 cm after the rib.

Then begin the decreases for the top of the hat as follows: (switch to double pointed needles when the knitting becomes too tight).
