	Recommended Maintenance / Recommended Care: This yarn is not superwash treated. It is recommended to wash your knitting in lukewarm water with soap or a suitable detergent. If you wish to test the wool program of your machine, we advise you to do so first with your sample.

ORIGINS AND MANUFACTURING

Bérénice is a unique blend of extra-fine fibers from Angora goats from South African farms committed to respecting animal welfare and the soft, lofty wool of our organic Arles merino , spun into loops around of a shiny and strong silk thread , then combed to give the desired tousled and voluminous appearance.

The yarn is then dyed with ecological dyes that comply with GOTS specifications to reduce their environmental impact. The manufacturing of this very special yarn is carried out for us in Italy near Biella.

ON THE NEEDLES

Bérénice is a very fine lace-type yarn , fluffy and airy. The combination of mohair and Arles merino gives it a soft and cloudy feel, slightly less hairy than a classic mohair and silk yarn, and very soft.

Bérénice was designed to enrich the textures and colors of our yarns and open up new horizons for them!

Knitted double with Ulysse , Gilliatt or Cyrano it makes them softer, discreetly shiny and irresistibly soft; associated with Albertine and Pénélope , she brings them lightness and voluptuousness for a luxurious knitting experience and precious creations.

The Bérénice color palette has been designed to create tone-on-tone combinations or subtle contrasts with our carded and combed ranges.

It can of course also be knitted alone in a wide range of samples by varying the size of the needles: with very fine needles, you will obtain a delicate and slightly transparent fabric to imagine a sweater or cardigan as light as a feather; with larger needles, the result will be soft and vaporous, ideal for knitting shawls or stoles.
