After several years in the fashion business, they decided it was time to focus on yarn; by applying all their experience in knitwear and fine wools to carefully select the best natural yarns in the world at unbeatable prices.
Illimani has worked with thousands of artisans in Bolivia and Peru, many of whom have mastered the art of knitting and crochet. Their mission is to provide the materials and inspiration to their customers to help them create their own handmade textiles.
They also work with international aid organizations to support artisans in the Bolivian and Peruvian Andes in marketing their products to North American markets.
