An extraordinary wool, hand-spun and produced in Quebec
One of the “Treasures” of La Maison Tricotée!
Available online and at La Maison Tricotée Gilford
When Marc-André came in La Maison Tricotée with a small selection of his yarn, the whole team turned into children on Christmas morning!
Each skein comes from sheeps of their sheepfold “Le Mouton Polaire” in Témiscamingue. Marc-André lovingly takes care of his flock, shears and helps with the calving of each of his sheep. Edith, his partner, spins the wool into skeins, each one unique.
Unique and rare treasures from a passionate couple...
As Mathilde said to our team (after taking 5 skeins!) "I'm dying from the inside, it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen".
Their Shetland wool is very soft and will make warm and light accessories.
Their Scottish BlackFac (SBF) and Icelandic wool blends are more rustic but perfect for warm, durable knits.
/!\ Each skein is unique in shade and weight
