Material

• 1 skein of cashmere 4ply by Hand Maiden (100% Cashmere; 50 grams / 169 yards)
• 1 circular needle 2.5mm in 40cm circumference
• 1 circular needle 3.5mm in 40cm circumference
• 1 set of 3.5mm double tips
• 1 yarn needle
• 1 marker ring
  

Sample

22 sts x 30 rows for 10cm by 10cm with 3.5mm needles in circular stockinette. Important : check the sample and adjust the needle number if necessary.

Realization

With 2.5 mm needles, cast on 104 (112 stitches) and join in the round, place a marker ring, taking care not to twist the stitches.

Knit in 2/2 rib up to 5 cm in height. Continue with circular needles 3.5mm, following the rib 2/2 until 23 cm from the cast-on edge. Begin the decreases:

row 1: * Knit 2 together, purl 2 * repeat from * to * until the end of the round.

Row 2, 3 and 4: * Knit 1, purl 2 * Repeat from * to * until the end of the round.

Row 5: * Knit 1, purl 2 together * Repeat from * to * until the end of the round.

Row 6, 7 and 8: * Knit 1, purl 1 * Repeat from * to * until the end of the round.

row 9: Knit 2 stitches together on the entire row.

Cut the thread 20 cm from the work, pass it through the remaining stitches, tighten and tuck in all the threads.
